Monroe’s Motivated sequence

Need – describes the issue to be addressed
Satisfaction – identifies the solution
Visualization – anticipated outcome with the possible solution
Action – creating a call to action
Comparative Advantage pattern
Shows how your viewpoint is superior to other alternatives.
Refutation Pattern
Each main point addresses and then refutes and opposing claim to their position.
I would like an obvious thesis statement that clearly lists the three or so items that you are planning on discussing. They want a conclusion that again clearly states what they discussed during the speech. There should be a minimum of three citations in the appropriate locations related to the speech in APA format. Place the citations both in the outline and the PowerPoint and both should include a Bibliography. They should be mentioned during the speech to show the audience that the information came from a credible source. (40 points)
