You have been assigned as a policy intern to your state senator, who is considering launching a bill to protect women in humanitarian crisis. You will draft a policy brief using the readings outlining some of the main issues concerning this topic, some examples provided in the readings, and an opinion or recommendation from you on what type of legislative measures for humanitarian assistance would be useful in preventing and or in treating women victims of sexual violence in conflict zones.
