Nano-economics Project

Nano-economics Project
Read description below, note you are doing the writing part not the others. Use generic examples to answer the questions. Thanks.
==========
Nano-economics Project
Your final project will consist of researching your own thoughts about and insights into your family or community and their relationship to money. You may focus on the past, present or the future. The tools of economics research you will use will be personal-economics ones and social-economics ones as discussed in class.
Research and Preparation
You should contact family (or community) members and interview them about their thoughts on money and their relationship with money. Find out the most wonderful/profound memory of money in their life and the difficult memories of money in their life. Interview a number of people so that you can start putting together a cogent story of your life/family/community’s relationship to money focusing as narrowly or as broadly as you wish. You may interview people, find letters and other personal belongings, and also write your own letters to family members who may have passed away imagining what you would say to them about money if they could hear your words and read them.
The Deliverable
You will create either an art project (as seen for example in the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco) with a plaque. The art work should include as much economic artifact as possible (coins, notes, letters, photos, memorabilia, personal belongings all of family members past) and can be coupled with your own sculpture or other artwork, recordings, films, etc. Any time-based element, such as a film should be edited down to a max. of 5 minutes. Create a plaque that contains the name of the artist (your name!), name of the artwork, date, materials used and a paragraph explaining the artwork including background information on the artist (i.e. you!).
OR
A 600 word paper on the same topic.

This is a creative project so I want to see your creativity, your opinions expressed at the highest level of your intelligence come through!
