Observe an elementary classroom teacher teach a multi-step math problem (during whole-group instruction) and provide students opportunities to solve problems that are structurally similar to the ones previously taught.
B. After your observation, write a description (suggested length of 1 page) of the
observation that includes:
1. A description of the mathematics teaching model used
2. A description of how the observed teacher structured student practice time

a. Teaching a multi-step math problem (a 30–40 minute lesson)
