The assignment should: 
1. Begin with a clear introduction that outlines the aims and structure of the essay. 
2. Provide an introduction to the chosen organisation and a clear rationale for why it has been selected. 
3. Provide a detailed application of the core competency approach to the chosen organization, using appropriate and relevant terminology. 
4. Provide a critical reflection on how effective, or ineffective, the core competency approach was in ‘identifying’ and ‘explaining’ the organisation\'s competitive advantage. 
5. Demonstrate a clear understanding of the core competency approach and any other relevant theories, tools and frameworks, as evidenced through the quality of their application. 
6. Produce a balanced and critical evaluation of the inside-out approach to strategy formulation, drawing on a wide-ranging and independently-sourced literature
